A group of year 8 pupils have created an app to help those suffering with dementia. The app called ‘My Little Memory’ was nominated for a BCBC ‘Inspire for Life’ award in the ‘Innovation’ category. Our PE & Wellbeing faculty have been going all out in the last year to make a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most. Their creation of a ‘Pop-up Prom Shop’ and organisation of a ‘Christmas Celebration’ for the community, saw them nominated for a BCBC β€˜Above & Beyond’ award. Prince's Trust Award Success

Maesteg School pupils have been working on a sustainable project turning old clothes into good as new, leading them to win a prestigious Prince’s Trust Award and the chance to meet King Charles.
