We are delighted to celebrate another highly successful year of GCSE outcomes at Maesteg School. These results reflect the tremendous commitment shown by our pupils, the dedication and expertise of our staff, and the invaluable encouragement provided by parents and carers throughout their educational journey.
This year’s Year 11 cohort has much to be proud of. They have demonstrated perseverance, determination and a positive attitude towards learning. Their efforts have been rewarded with a strong set of GCSE results, including a continued increase in the number of top grades achieved and notable successes across a wide range of subjects.
Students at Maesteg School opening their GCSE results who followed vocational pathways through the Bridgend College Junior Apprenticeship Programme have also achieved excellent results. Their accomplishments highlight the value of alternative routes to success and provide them with a strong platform for future education, training and employment opportunities.

The skills and resilience they have developed will serve them well as they move on to the next stage of their education and future careers.
