Below is an itemised list of what you can wear to school:

Year 7
School black blazer (with the addition of a black v-neck school jumper or cardigan if you wish)

Boys:
- Black and amber house tie
- White shirt
- Black formal trousers
- Black socks
- Black shoes or all black trainers
Girls:
- Black and amber house tie
- White shirt
- Black formal trousers (NB. not leggings) / Black skirt
- Black socks
- Black shoes or all black trainers
Please note that hoodies are not part of the Maesteg School uniform.
Year 8
Please note that blazers will be compulsory from September 2024.

Current uniform is a school v-neck black jumper or cardigan or blazer

Boys:
- Black and amber house tie
- White shirt
- Black formal trousers
- Black socks
- Black shoes or all black trainers
Girls:
- Black and amber house tie
- White shirt

PE Kit (All year groups)
- Boys: Black shorts/Black tracksuit bottoms. Black training top, trainers, school socks, boots.
- Girls: Black shorts/Black tracksuit bottoms/leggings. Black training top + trainers.

MY APPEARANCE What am I allowed to wear?

One small stud in each earlobe (these must be removed for PE or Games)
A watch
No facial piercings are allowed at all – this includes nose studs.

What am I not allowed to wear?

Jeans instead of school trousers
Hoodies instead of coats
Makeup or nail varnish
Abnormal hair colours or extreme hairstyles
