University of Birmingham: How to write a great personal statement

Applying for a place at university? Your personal statement is a big part of your UCAS application. Universities read and consider your personal statement to find out more about you, why you want to study at that university and the course you’re interested in. It’s your opportunity to tell the university why you want to study there. There is no set formula as to what makes a great personal statement, but we have some tips from our experts here at the University of Birmingham which could help you to develop your personal statement. Good luck!
