Applying for Sixth Form
In Light of the school closures we are working hard to ensure all students wishing to join us here at Maesteg School Sixth Form in September 2020 can apply. This form will allow you to apply for a place and make your subject choices.The option columns can be found at the Sixth Form Application section here.
The deadline for applications to join the Sixth Form is Friday 1st May 2020.

Careers Wales
In order to meet the demand of a country on lock-down, Careers Wales have made steps to help and advice you from the comfort of your home. Careers Wales have now launched a new Wales-wide live chat (see tweet below) with expert careers advisers. This service is available Monday to Friday and is available for young people in schools and colleges, parents/guardians and those children who are normally home-schooled. It’s an opportunity for you to discuss any concerns you have about next steps and your future options.
Careers Wales are also in the process of developing their new home-schooling resources. These are due to go live around Easter and will include a series of sector-specific webinars and lesson plans available to watch and download from their website here.
