Headteacher Helen Jones said, ‘Our pupils have made the Maesteg school community proud.
The atmosphere in school today was one of celebration-justifiably so. Completing GCSEs
successfully, requires real commitment and hard work over two years, not just in the final
exams, and these pupils worked hard from the outset so determined to do well.
Their resilience will serve them well for whatever lies ahead. We applaud their effort
and their achievements. I sincerely look forward to welcoming this successful cohort back
into our Sixth Form to enable them to continue to build on their successes.
